• No Contacts Access: Junkman does not require access to your contacts, and therefore, I do not collect any data from your contacts list.

How I Ensure Your Privacy

• Local Processing: All functions of Junkman, including SMS filtering, are performed locally on your device. This means that your data does not and cannot leave your device.
• No Cloud Storage: Since I do not collect any data, no information is uploaded, stored, or processed on my servers.

As Junkman does not collect or store any data, there are no accounts to manage, no data to request, and no preferences to set regarding data collection.

• Reported Text Messages: When you use the Reporting Extension to report text messages for analysis, the sender and the content of the message are transmitted to me for manual processing.
• Anonymization Process: Prior to any use, reported messages are anonymized and stripped of any personally identifiable information to protect your privacy.

Important Note: Any submission through the Reporting Extension can only be initiated by you and cannot be started automatically. This ensures that you have full control over what information is shared.

How I Use the Information

• Training the Smart Filter: The anonymized text messages are used to train and improve the Smart Filter, enhancing its ability to effectively filter unwanted SMS messages.
• Improvement of Spam and Threat Database: I analyze the submitted data to understand the evolving patterns of unwanted messages and can update the Spam and Threat Database for immediate response to emerging threats.

Your Responsibility

Caution Against Sensitive Information: Please exercise caution and do not submit any sensitive or personally identifiable information through the Reporting Extension. While I anonymize data before using it to train the Smart Filter, it's crucial to avoid submitting messages that contain sensitive information to protect your privacy.
